The Long Now

Where to Go this Weekend: The Long Now in Berlin

One of the spring events we’ve been looking forward this year is “The Long Now” taking place at Berlin’s Kraftwerk from Saturday. “The Long Now” is a place for the enduring present, a space in which time itself can unfold, where the sense of time can take uncharted paths and get lost. A time bubble, separated, for an unending moment, from the clocked pace of the metropolis. A chronosphere to make space for each and everyone’s proper…

In an abstract sense, it recalls the more fractured and loose end of…

Amon Tobin’s ‘Dark Jovian’ EP to be Released on Record Store Day

From the sounds of this this video, it look’s like Amon Tobin’s latest release Dark Jovian is going to be good. Tobin hasn’t released anything in some time, well at least since 2011 , and we’ve been told Dark Jovian will tread into the sort of capacious territory normally reserved for classical music. In Tobin’s own words: “I made these tracks a year or two ago after binge-watching space exploration films. People have, from time to time, described things…
