A Question We Posed to go nogo:
Where’s your favourite place to take out-of-town guests in Heidelberg?
“I would take them to have a ‘philosopher’s walk’ with me - that pathway, which leads up to the holy mountain, facing the Heidelberg castle in the opposite direction. In the middle, there is the valley where historical Heidelberg is situated - and of course you have the splendid riverbanks of the Neckar parting the city center to behold. Most of all, from the plateau of that mountain, you get a great romantic view all over town and of the surrounding nature. It’s not only the vineyards, but also exotic plants which can only grow in one of the climatic mildest and sunniest places in Germany."
