Palisded produces sounds which hark back to the past with modern touches of today’s music. Inspired by synthesizers, futurism, electronics, fashion, art, and 80s nostalgia, these elements interconnect to help define her style. Palisded is also the founder of Computer Love records. She resides in Los Angeles.
How did you come up with the name Palisded?
Originally ‘Palisded’ was the name of a track from my first Aliases. I found it in a fashion/music magazine. When I started to produce 80s inspired music and looking for a name, it stood out to me. I imagined Palisded as a hidden retro city full of neon’s, synthesizers and never-ending nostalgia.
How did you get into producing your own music?
I’ve always loved music. I remember being so intrigued by a band performance in middle school, I just knew I wanted to create music. So I started playing instruments ranging from guitar to the drums and joined an all-girl band. Eventually I was introduced to a different way of producing music on a computer and haven’t stopped since.
