Visit: The House of Peroni London, 19th May – 1st July
We’re getting excited about the forthcoming edition of the House of Peroni. The House of Peroni Residency has changed venues and is opening its doors this year at PROUD EAST in Haggerston, East London, from Thursday 19th MAY – Friday 1st July.
The six-week residency is themed around For the Love of Italy and will offer guests a taste of Italian style to savour. And best of all, it’s free to get in.
Today’s Italy is brimming with creative luminaries who are shaping the Italy of tomorrow, and fuelled by their love of Italy, they are forging a world of new and stylish experiences inspired by the cultures, colours, flavours, icons and traditions of their homeland – all of which can be sampled by all of your senses at the Hosue of Peroni.
To create this year’s experience, Peroni collaborated with three influential Italians who are each masters of their respective crafts:
Margherita Maccapani Missoni – Master of Style
Margherita Maccapani Missoni, part of the esteemed Italian fashion dynasty Missoni, will be the Residency Master of Style this year. Margherita will be taking inspiration from the beautiful Italian landscape and sumptuous family gatherings in her home to design unique spaces and interiors within the Residency.
She will be drawing on he Italian heritage and its unique culture to immerse Residency visitors in the world of Italian style. Her creative journey and references will be bought to life by highly acclaimed, London-based artist and set designer Petra Storrs, who is renowned for working with artists such as Lady Gaga and Florence and the Machine.
World-renowned chef, Francesco Mazzei (Chef Patron of Sartoria in Mayfair and previously of L’Anima, London) is the Master of Taste for this Residency and has created an expansive menu of indulgent Italian dishes.
Guests will have a selection of dining options each day, from Cicchetti (Italian bar snacks and small dishes) to La Colazione Pigra (Italian Brunch) at weekends, a selection of homemade gelato ice cream and a pre-bookable private dining experience, Il Banchetto (Italian Feast).
Simone Caporale returns to The House of Peroni for the second year running as the Master of Mixology. Inspired by his love of Italian ingredients and the passion he holds for the Italian way of life, his drinks reflect the daily rituals and beauty of life in his home in Lake Como.
Simone has created a menu of Peroni Nastro Azzurro-infused drinks that will appeal to everyone’s taste, reinvigorating Italian classics such as the Aperol Spritz and the Negroni, the latter of which will be served five ways from a dedicated bar.
A diverse programme of ticketed events has been curated by the Residency Masters, which will take guests on a multi-sensory journey of Italian sights, smells and tastes.
These bespoke Residency experiences will include a floating Negroni bar, pasta making and mixology masterclasses, and a unique immersive space created by Margherita Maccapani Missoni.
